Two new PCSK9 inhibitors, oral enlicitide (Lipfendra) and injectable lerodalcibep (Lerochol), may pop up on home med lists.

These join the injectable PCSK9 inhibitors...alirocumab (Praluent), evolocumab (Repatha), and inclisiran (Leqvio).

These meds work a little differently to impact PCSK9 (a protein in the liver)...but ultimately, they help clear LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) or bad cholesterol from the blood.
