Nat’l Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) updates will prompt hazardous med policy changes...using guidance from USP <800>.

NIOSH recently reclassified its hazardous med list into 2 tables.

Table 1 includes known or probable meds that cause cancer (estrogens, azathioprine, cyclosporine, etc), plus hazardous meds with special handling info in the package insert.
