Think of Daridorexant as Similar to Lemborexant and Suvorexant
The new insomnia med, daridorexant (Quviviq), may pop up on some home med lists.
Think of it as similar to lemborexant (Dayvigo) and suvorexant (Belsomra). All are C-IV "orexin antagonists."
They work by blocking compounds in the brain that promote wakefulness...instead of inducing drowsiness like other meds for insomnia (zolpidem, etc).
