Which Kit Is a Hit? Examining Physical and Virtual Med Kits

Advancements in technology could mean seeing less physical medication kits...and implementing more virtual kits instead.

Physical kits (code trays, etc) are typically in crash carts for “code blues” when emergency meds are needed fast (cardiac arrest, etc).

Arrange kits by placing the most-used items (epinephrine syringes, etc) in front...putting vials into divided pockets...and separating look-alike meds. Add dosing cards and reconstitution supplies if needed.
