You may see fezolinetant (Veozah), a new Rx med for treating hot flashes during menopause, pop up on home med lists.

Fezolinetant works by blocking a chemical in the brain’s temperature control center.

It’ll be an option for patients who can’t or prefer not to use hormone therapy (estradiol, etc) for hot flashes or night sweats.
