Keep Neuromuscular Blockers From Being Given by Mistake

You'll see more emphasis on avoiding errors with neuromuscular blockers (rocuronium, etc)...due to a string of manufacturer issues.

For example, there have been mislabeled cisatracurium vials...and rocuronium and vecuronium vial caps without warnings.

It's scary because these meds are used to paralyze patients for intubation or mechanical ventilation. Accidental administration is usually deadly...since patients can't speak, move, or breathe.
