Think of Remimazolam as Similar to Midazolam
You may see remimazolam (Byfavo), a new injectable benzodiazepine.
Think of it as similar to midazolam. Remimazolam is given IV push...to sedate patients for short procedures (colonoscopy, etc).
One difference is that remimazolam's effects wear off sooner than midazolam's...which might help patients wake up faster.
