Generics for ProAir HFA, Ventolin HFA, and Advair Diskus will finally hit the market.

ProAir HFA and Ventolin HFA. Look for two new albuterol sulfate HFA "authorized generics"...a Teva product for ProAir HFA and a Prasco product for Ventolin HFA. These are the same as their brands...they just don't have the brand name on the label.

But expect your pharmacy to continue to carry the institutional size of brand Ventolin HFA. It's about $20...less than the $35 price tag on the new albuterol HFA generics.
