Fludrocortisone (Florinef, etc) boosts BP by causing sodium and water retention.

Pay extra attention to decimal points on fludrocortisone orders. Most patients with orthostatic hypotension will get 0.1 mg daily...but in rare cases, doses up to 1 mg daily may be needed.
