Aprocitentan (Tryvio) will be a new Rx med for resistant hypertension in adults.

The 12.5 mg tablet will be prescribed as a once-daily add-on therapy for patients already on at least 3 other meds for high blood pressure.

Don’t expect many patients to come in on aprocitentan. It’ll likely be reserved for patients as a last resort...or if they can’t tolerate other BP meds.
