You'll hear about two new IV meds, Cinvanti (sin-VAHN-tee) and Varubi (vuh-ROO-bee), to prevent nausea and vomiting with chemotherapy.

Think of injectable Varubi (rolapitant) as an alternative to the oral form...and Cinvanti as an injectable form of aprepitant (oral Emend).

Keep in mind that injectable Emend is FOSaprepitant...a prodrug of aprepitant. It's converted to aprepitant in the body.
