You'll see angiotensin II (Giapreza, gee-ah-PREH-zah), a new IV "pressor" for boosting blood pressure in patients with septic shock.

We're used to dispensing angiotensin II receptor blockers, or "ARBs" (losartan, etc), to treat HYPERtension. Angiotensin II has the opposite effect...it treats HYPOtension.
