Think of Rituxan Hycela as the Subcutaneous Version of Rituxan

You'll hear about Rituxan Hycela (rih-TUK-san hye-SEL-uh) for treating blood cancers.

Think of it as similar to Rituxan. They're both injectable forms of rituximab.

The big difference is that Rituxan Hycela contains hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase temporarily breaks down tissue under the skin...so larger dose volumes can be injected subcutaneously instead of intravenously.
