Verify Brand AND Generic Names of Foreign Meds on Medication Histories

Foreign meds can lead to mix-ups on admission med histories.

U.S. meds can share the same brand name with meds in other countries...but the ingredients may be DIFFERENT.

For example, Flomax is the brand name for tamsulosin in the U.S...but in Italy, Flomax is the NSAID, morniflumate. And Cartia XT is diltiazem in the U.S...but Cartia is aspirin in Israel.
